PDL-Services Ltd is a contract electronics design and manufacturing company based in Besthorpe, Norfolk. Founded by Peter Lancaster in 2010 and incorporated as a Limited company in November 2012, we have grown from a one-man operation into a trusted engineering partner for businesses across the UK.

We offer one of the broadest ranges of in-house capabilities of any contract manufacturer in the region — from PCB design and assembly through to CNC machining, 3D printing and laser cutting. That means your project stays under one roof, with one point of contact, from first enquiry through to finished product.

Every product we manufacture is fully tested before leaving our premises. Quality is not an afterthought — it is built into every stage of our process.

PDL-Services was born out of experience and necessity. Our founder Peter Lancaster spent years in the electronics industry in roles from service manager to managing director at Analogue Associates, building a deep and practical understanding of what clients actually need from a manufacturing partner.

After being made redundant — not once, but twice — Peter made the decision to build something of his own. PDL-Services was established to offer the kind of high-quality, responsive, personal service that larger contract manufacturers struggle to provide. In November 2012 the company became a Limited company, a milestone that marked the beginning of a period of sustained growth.

Today we serve clients across medical, military, industrial and commercial sectors. Our facility is equipped with up-to-date machinery and staffed by a skilled, flexible team capable of handling everything from one-off prototypes to volume production runs.
